Law Enforcement Officer Opportunities   

The Perkins County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Deputy Sheriff.  Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma and be of good moral character, with no felony, serious misdemeanor or major traffic convictions, a valid drivers license and in good physical condition.  Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification, prior military experience, and post-secondary education preferred, but not mandatory. Written and physical agility testing waived for Nebraska certified applicants who submit a copy of valid certification with application/resume.  Uncertified applicants must meet admission requirements for the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center.  Pay rate is dependent on education, qualifications, training and experience.
