Law Enforcement Officer Opportunities   

The Perkins County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Deputy Sheriff. Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma and be of good moral character, with no felony, serious misdemeanor or major traffic convictions, a valid drivers license and in good physical condition. Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification is preferred, but is not mandatory. Uncertified applicants must meet admission requirements for the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center. Pay rate is dependent on education, qualifications, training and experience. Benefit package includes health insurance, life insurance, retirement plan, paid leave, holiday pay, uniform and cellular telephone allowance. Applicants will under go a background investigation, drug/alcohol testing and must be willing to work a variety of shifts.
